What we have done

The Coastside County Water District has worked well for the past ten years. The district has improved our resilience with a new water treatment plant at the north end of town, called the Denniston creek water treatment which provides us with local water at a lower cost than purchased water. We have evaluated our ten water tanks to improve water quality, lower our operations cost and improve emergency preparedness. This new approach pencils out to a savings of a million dollars a year! The current board of directors has initiated a strategic plan to prepare for the next fifty years. The water district has been awarded for it's transparency and board training.
